What Measurements Do You Need?
Most custom covers require a few basic dimensions. Depending on the product shape, you may also need diameter, slope, arm height, back height, corner radius, or cut-out details.
- Width: Measure the widest left-to-right point.
- Depth: Measure the deepest front-to-back point.
- Height: Measure from the ground or base to the highest point.
- Diameter: For round items, measure straight across the widest part.
- Shape details: Note slopes, curves, L-shapes, U-shapes, handles, chimneys, or cut-outs.
- Quantity: If ordering multiple covers, measure each item separately.
Common Shape Measuring Tips
Rectangular Covers
Measure width, depth, and height. Use the largest outer points, including arms, handles, or raised edges.
Round Covers
Measure the diameter across the widest point and the total height from base to top.
L-Shaped Covers
Measure both sections separately, including left and right lengths, depth, and overall height.
Slanted Covers
Measure the lower height, higher height, width, and depth. Include a photo if the slope is unusual.
Fire Pit Covers
Measure the full outer size, including table ledges, burners, knobs, or decorative edges.
Grill Covers
Measure full width with side shelves, total depth, and height from ground to the highest point.
